Mango Sorbet

Alright, finally I can kick Nicholas’ post on the Curry Laksa. Tehee! I have a sweet tooth. I love desserts but at the same time I try to look out for my health (which has been failing lols). My first taste of Ammie’s lemon sorbet was magical. Then onwards, I learned how to make sorbet (although not as good as the commercial ones) for my own pleasure . I haven’t had the time to experiment much since I left for Australia. The only sorbet I made was watermelon. It tasted good, especially in autumn. Ha ha.

So before you sound the BORING alarm, I better get on with what I want to yak about today. Been trying to spot tasty Australian treats so that I can tempt my friends back in Malaysia, who have been tempting me with Malaysian food. Have been looking at the freeze section at the nearest “grocery store”. Looked through various delicious ice creams and spotted a different kind. Sorbet! My favourite! (I guess?)

I plucked the mango sorbet outta the fridge without even considering the berry flavoured one. Instincts? heh. Anyhow, the sorbet costs $7 AUD! Woot! It has been sitting in the freezer for quite sometime. I only decided to open it today – after having some photoshoot sessions with it. Nobody wants to be my model so I guess I have to have inanimate objects to be my models.. aw.. Woot, it was the best Mango Sorbet I have ever tasted! I hope they didn’t add excessive amounts of chemicals though.. hahaha! (since nothing natural is often that good!).. oh I did send an email to Weis to give them a thumbs up.. Let’s just see what they reply…
