The Broken Cup

The coffee has dried up. The cup that holds it is broken. These would be the two correct sentences to describe Coffeestops 2.0! The coffee is the warmth and liveliness the website offers. As for the cup, it is not the friendship/kinship that we hold dear. It is the commitment and effort invested. Maintenance also requires commitment and effort, no?

Nobody is at fault. Circumstances change. Goals in life differ. There are better things to do out there! Writing our thoughts ( like an article ) is not easy and takes a bit of time. Not everyone is born to write. Not everyone has the time to do so! With the introduction of Facebook and Twitter, there definitely is a better and simpler method to pen our thoughts and keep in touch. So why the need of a blog? What more if it costs money to maintain one.

As the coffeemakers shift gears to adulthood/working life, we will be caught up with our careers, and perhaps a family. Coffeestops will hold our memories of once being young and lively – that is if we continue to pay the rent for the server. Ha ha! I have to say that Coffeestops wasn’t mean to die so young. It had so much pontential. It was meant for more! I guess I was too hopeful.

Every beginning has and end, and every end has a new beginning. Coffeestops started serving coffee on the 1st of January 2008 with 9 good friends, whom all studied in SMK USJ 12. The coffee tasted bitter, sweet, sour, salty and tasteless as time went by. As far as the eye can see, the new beginning is nigh. It is just a matter of time.
