Secret Recipe’s Durian Cheesecake

Tastes just like durian!
Durians are in the air! It is the durian season and they are everywhere. In the marketplace, the roadside stalls, and even in your cakes! If you are a die hard fan of durians, you would be very much excited as me with Secret Recipe’s Durian Cheesecake! However, for those outside Malaysia, keep your fingers crossed as they might not have this delicacy on the menu! Just bear in mind to check with the nearest Secret Recipe.
The Durian Cheesecake tastes just like durian but with a hint of cheese. Every bite would just keep you wanting for more! However, there are some drawbacks to it. After a few servings, you might start to feel sick. On the other hand, the freshness of the durians used to make the cake is also an issue. If you’re unlucky, you might have a sourish taste in your mouth instead of the sweet and delicious durian taste!
With RM 6.50 for a slice of the Durian Cheesecake, it is not worth your money if you are in just for the durian. Better off buying real durians from the roadside. However, for special occasions like birthdays or tea, give it a try!

My housemates organized a durian session yesterday night and the smell was “fantastic”. I think they bought about 8kg of durians =p
Ha ha, did you join in the fun? I had my own session at home lah. My dad brought back a sack of durians. We should have our own durian party =d
Nope. Very likely to have nose bleed after taking durian so, I did not take the risk =D
Still having nose bleeds? Sure it isn’t nasal cancer? =d

Isn’t there a Secret Recipe in the US? =D
At least, I don’t find one at all.
Hmm, I’m sure there are plenty of better cake outlets there in the US!
Great site you have here but I was curious if you knew of any user discussion forums that cover the same topics discussed in this article? I’d really like to be a part of online community where I can get advice from other experienced people that share the same interest. If you have any recommendations, please let me know. Thanks!
