Mango Lassi and Claypot Chicken Rice at T Cafe
CoffeeTaste — By Christopher on July 13, 2009 at 12:06 PMCameron Highlands is well known for its vegetable produce and strawberries. It is also a favourite spot for holiday goers and couples (especially on Valentines Day). If you are going to be at Cameron Highlands for a few days or a few hours for that matter, you would need to find a place to eat! T Cafe is located beside (above) Mary Brown and opposite the bus terminal at Tanah Rata. There is a parking area nearby so fret not about finding parking!
For lunch, the Claypot Chicken Rice and the Mango Lassi is an okay choice. Of course, if you want to try something else, go for it!

Mango Lassi
The Mango Lassi might not look appealing to the eyes (note the lack of ‘bling’ to it) but it does not lack in taste! The Mango Lassi is a rich blend of mango (not flavouring but the real deal) and yoghurt! A perfect blend for yoghurt lovers! For you health freaks, yoghurt has bacteria in it which helps with digestion. There are also various other health benefits to taking yoghurt too! Worry not!

Claypot Chicken Rice
The Claypot Chicken Rice looks good but lacks taste. It might appeal to health freaks because it is an indication of the reduced usage of additives to it! Of course it is not an excuse to the bland taste however. Chicken meat, cabbage and capsicum are served together in the pot. There might be others but I can’t identify them. Maybe you could?
The price of the Mango Lassi is RM 5 and the Claypot Chicken Rice is RM 6. There is no tax and RM 11 for lunch is a decent price to pay.
The Mango Lassi deserves a 4/5 and the Claypot Chicken Rice a 2/5.

You really make it appear so easy along with your presentation however I find this topic to be actually something which I feel I’d by no means understand. It sort of feels too complex and extremely huge for me. I’m having a look forward to your next post, i’ll try to get the cling of it!
