The Final Boss

I have finally finished Plants vs Zombie! Not that I am bad at the game but because I stopped playing the game after level 4 for awhile. Resumed today and finally completed it! Well, technically I have not completed the game yet. A 100% completion of the game would earn you a gold trophy. Beating the final level will only win you the silver trophy. So much for the repetition (using the same strategy over and over again!).

Destroying the final boss is quite simple. The boss will drop random zombies every few seconds on a lane. That’s nothing to be afraid of considering the fact that you have faced even larger hordes of zombies at once. You cannot deal damage to the boss as long as all you see are his legs. When the boss bends down (the head becomes visible), he will either cast a fireball or iceball that will mow down all your plants in a single lane. To counter them, use the jalapeno or the iceshroom. Use some common sense here!

In fact, the only time when you can deal damage to the boss is when he casts fireballs or iceballs. To give you plants more time to deal damage, plant an iceshroom while the boss is down. He will free for some time. The worst has yet to come! Randomly, the boss might throw vehicles that smashes your plants in a 2 x 3 cell. Ouch! Try to space your plants a little.

The Silver Trophy

There you have it, the silver trophy. To obtain the gold trophy, you will have to complete all the puzzles and mini-games. Something which I think I will never do! What a waste of my time! In my opinion, Plants vs. Zombies would be better if the developers incorporated “mazing”. It’ll add more variation to the gameplay!
