Taro Ball at Snowflake

This is what you should be looking out for!
The weather’s hot. Rain is scarce. When there is no other way left to cool down (after blasting the air conditioning at full power and removing all your clothes, oops), an ice dessert will definitely be a sweet option! If you are interested in savouring one, make your way to Snowflake at SS15! It is opposite the market, along the row of shops were some of INTI College’s faculties are. Remember to look up! The shop is on the first floor!

Taro Ball, sweet, cold and refreshing!
There are a number of ice desserts to choose from. Just note that this franchise is self-service. They even have a cool UFO to notify you when your order is ready! The Taro Ball tastes good. I think that they should rename it as Taro Cylinders as the yam and sweet potatoes come in shapes other than a ball!
On the top is where all the goodies are. The yam, sweet potatoes and grass jelly. The creamer is optional. The base is ice shavings, drenched with a generous amount of palm sugar (Gula Melaka). I suppose this ain’t good for diabetics. As mention, a bowl of the Taro Ball is refreshing. Even so, I am not going to be addicted to it!
Maybe it is just me but I feel that the quality of the servings have since reduced. This is my second time eating it. It costs RM5.50 per bowl. Reasonable but you might be better off with a bowl of cendol instead. Anyhow, just give the Taro Ball a try!
