If you have been wondering why do your friends have an image whenever they post a comment on WordPress (or for tech-junkies, Gravatar enabled sites) but not you? Well, that’s simply because you do not have a Gravatar account!

It’s free to sign up for a Gravatar account. Besides that, as long as any website you visit is Gravatar enabled, your image of choice will be immediately displayed on the site! I can’t remember how long it has been since I have the Gravatar account. I think it comes together when you sign up for a WordPress account. I can’t remember though.

So how does Gravatar knows which image is yours? As far as I know, you are recognized based on the email you have signed up with. You have to fill up the email field in the comment form for the image to show! What are you waiting for? Go sign up today and make yourself visible to the world!
