Hacked!
Announcements — By Christopher on April 26, 2009 at 11:36 AM
In just a span of two days, our website has been hacked and defaced twice. The first hacker left his “caller id” on the website’s front page. He/she claims that he/she was doing it just for the sake of having some fun.
With the help of Yao Siang, we reverted the website back to its original “unhacked” state. We assumed that the first hacking was a “freak accident” and didn’t bother much about it.
Hours later, the website was hacked again! This time it was by another party ( I suppose ). Accessing our website than would have automatically initiate your browser to download “files” from an external source. I was on Firefox and it blocked the offensive. The problem was again fixed by Yao Siang. Read the about page to get an idea why his name always pops out.
Let’s keep our fingers crossed and hope for the best! Cheers!
