Then Came A Monitor Lizard

It looks small in the picture but don’t be fooled!
Living in the concrete jungle for almost all our lives, we tend to forget what lies outside our world. As we cut down forests to make way for development, we push the wildlife back until they have nowhere to go. The only way for them is to migrate to our concrete jungles!

Hiding behind the piano
Class ended early at 12 PM today! I was warned not to use the front entrance to my own house as there was a crocodile like creature in the front part of the house. Entered the from the back of my house and went to check out the front. Head some noises coming from the piano area. There it was. Behind the piano. I don’t know for sure how long it was but it was definitely huge! The claws were so long! Tried to coax it to leave the house by nudging it with a stick. Instead, it scuttled hurriedly to another hiding spot. This time it took refuge behind the organ.

See ya!
I decided to let it find its own way out. I checked to make sure all doors to rooms were closed, leaving only one door open ( which leads to the outside ). I had my lunch and observed it after that. It worked like a charm. The lizard walked itself out to freedom! No need to trouble the fire brigade! Cheers!
