Dragonfly

Spotted this red dragonfly on the window.
I heard some weird sounds coming from my table fan the night before. I thought it was due to the fan’s blades. Perhaps the curtains had something to do with it too. It sounded like a piece of plastic caught in the fan while operating. I heard the same sound every minute or so. However, it did not disturb me.
The next day, I could still hear the same sound. I decided to get a closer look this time. I neared the windows and saw a red object. It was a dragonfly! Looks like the sounds were due to it bumping into the glass each time it tried to escape! I wonder how on earth did it manage to get in the first place! Opened the window and ushered the little bug out on its way to freedom. This dragonfly reminds me of “caged freedom”. We think that we are free but remain trapped in a glass container.
