What do people talk about in the coffee shops?

Gossips from how one’s boyfriend or girlfriend is a disaster from the start; how one’s husband is suffering from erectile dysfunction; how the girl next door is actually a devil in disguise; or lamenting about why one is still single when most of the deers in the hunting are being head shot…

It is one of our guilty pleasures, isn’t it? We are naturally curious beasts. We exhale joyously when we are part of the “little secret”. Our heart beating thunderously as we walk off the gossip table, feeling as though we are part of something important. We are because we belong. 

And that’s what “Coffeestops” is about. It is a silent guardian, surreptitiously taking notes on our lives knowing fully that each post is more than just an account of an event. In a larger scale, it is a testimony that beneath the lurid chaos that transpires within our lives, with each and everyone of us going separate ways; living separate lives….

We are actually all connected, somehow, someway. 

So in conjunction with Coffeestops’ first anniversary (which was on the New Year), we invite you readers to join us in tracing those dots together. That in the dawn of a new epoch, distance is just random numbers. And stories can keep us all together.
