FGA USJ Christmas Celebration

The choir singing
My church, FGA USJ is having their annual Christmas celebration from the 19th to the 21st of this month. Trying to avoid the crowd, my sister and I decided to go for one on the 19th. Besides, all the performers would be fresh and we would get a great show!

The percussion team
I was stuck at a single spot for the night. That’s because the chairperson requested that we, the audience do not become blockheads. The church has already hired professional videographers and a photographer. I believe I did not break any rules. I wasn’t obstructing anyone and I didn’t utilize my speedlite! Cool. Shooting from a single spot was a challenge. Especially when you don’t have reach of 200mm! Not to mention I was at the worse spot imaginable. At the corner of the stage! The performers would very rarely only look in that direction! The play was well done. Thumbs up to everybody!

Wow, look at the star!
By the way, I was shooting at ISO 1600 most of the time. Nicholas, sorry for competing with your farewell post! I just had to get this out fresh! Enjoy the pictures!

Meet Inspector Gadget

Elvis Presly in the house!

The tap dancers

Big kid versus small kid

The Bollywood dancers
That’s all I can find from my little stash of shots for the night! If you want to catch the play, do drop by FGA USJ on the 31st!

Wah, shoot at 1600 but got no noise oso !! I sometimes shoot at 800 ( Prefect Night), can see the noise already.
J´s last blog post was Singapore Part 3
If you do observe my pictures at 100% crop, they are as noisy as you would expect.
Maybe noisier than your 450D.
My pictures are at such a small scale, therefore noise is not that visible. xD
very nice shots!!
Tried to do experiment taking shots of your kind.. but turned out disastrous =(
Thanks!
Hmm, you mean taking pictures with a different angle?
not the angles.. the movements!
Oh, well I guess as long as someone in the dancing motion is sharp then its fine =d
nice shots. u’re a handicapped photographer that nite. >.<
Thank you xD
