What Is Wrong With Maxis At KK?
Staying near Kota Kemuning (KK) and your cell phone is showing “Emergency calls only” or “No Service”? Don’t worry, your cell phone is not dead yet! As you can see in the picture above, there is no network signal transmitted from Maxis cell towers to my cell phone. Maxis network has gone down at Kota Kemuning area since 6.30 pm. It was still down when the picture was taken at 10.34 pm. Actually, I still can receive very weak signal (1 bar) at random times but making a call is close to impossible.
I didn’t take the trouble to call up Maxis customer service to report on this problem though. Lazy xD. The last time I called them was about Maxis 3G. They offered free internet services to 3G customers but my area was not covered with 3G. So, I called 123 and complained about the problem. To my surprise, after two or three weeks, I can see “3G” icon showing on my mobile screen. So efficient? Kota Kemuning residents should thank me for my complain. (Just joking)
Anyway, anyone can tell us what happen to Maxis now? I doubt that they are doing maintenance or upgrading process as today is a public holiday for Malaysia. Come on Maxis, stop disappointing me with this breakdown.
