Mooncake Festival @ Kenny’s

Voila~! I’m back from my long slumberrr~!!

If you’re all wondering where I’ve been, I’m still very much alive and kicking. Whee~ I just so happened to take a long (I know its a REALLLY long one) break from blogging.

Life in ACCA hasn’t been smooth. The recent release of our previous semester’s results wasn’t at all pleasing to the eyes nor the ears. I failed a paper. Yes, one paper out of the three I was sitting for. Oh well, life goes on and I will have to retake the paper. Sigh~ Other than that, it’s a rather routine stuff in Sun-U.

Right, on to the 14th of September. It was the 15th day of the 8th month according to the Lunar calendar, and to all Chinese, it was a day of get together with family members and friends. Kenny Ng, a fellow church member invited me to his Pot Bless party on Friday at 8pm, in which I agreed to go. Due to the tradition of having dinner with family on the auspicious night, I arrived late at Kenny’s place in USJ 11.

Well, the party was almost over T__T. Nevertheless, I savoured whats left of the situation and took a few shots.

No lanterns? Try playing with candles!

Christopher Ho, drenched with sweat. Been playing hard?

After much chit-chatings and some education about ‘Salty Pork Knuckles’ (try saying it in Cantonese if you don’t get it) and ‘Pok Mong’ (Pork balls, what the heck?) by Christopher Ho the Wise, I headed off to the pool table zone where Joshua and Brian were having a head-to-head.

Have some skills at pool? Show it to us!

Of course, couldn’t resist the urge to play, I joined in as well. Don’t think of challenging me, I’m a noob ^^.

We packed up and left at 11.30pm, and so ended the Mooncake Festival gathering at Kenny’s humble home in USJ 11.
