A Cosplay
I brought my camera today to university as I got to know about a Cosplay Competition that the Anime Club (it has a proper name, Animanga Otaku Unity) is organizing. It was scheduled at an odd hour (for me at least), 2 PM - 3 PM. Since my classes would end at 12 PM on Thursdays, that would mean that I have to kill two hours of my time.
The two hours I had did not go to waste. I was called out for lunch at Sunway Pyramid by my fellow authors, namely Ngai Wei Ling, Siah Ying Wei, Khor Kok Kuan and Yeo Yao Siang (who will be leaving us for the United Kingdom on Sunday night). There was some sort of drama as we chose the place to have lunch. It was quite hilarious. Wei Ling took one (many) for the team!
I was back at the university at 2.30 PM. I quickly made my way to the venue where the Cosplay Competition was to be held. By the time I got there, the event was already about to end! As if that wasn’t enough bad news. My flash had to go crazy (I suspect that I forgot to charge the batteries although I clearly remembered that I had them charged two days before) and the pictures I took didn’t come out as I wanted it to. After the event ended, I asked the cosplayers for some of their time for me to take photos of them!
Even shooting outdoors, I still had my fair share of problems getting the shots I want. I have no idea what went wrong with me. I guess my mind must have been clogged up with thoughts. Or perhaps I’m losing touch in the photography world. Anyway, here goes.

Roy, Yeah, I think its a new club in Monash University. You could go suggest to the teachers to allow such clubs in SMK USJ 12 =p
