My story is like Barack Obama’s - an improbable journey.
I started off the first few pages of my life circling through the spheres of my nation. From Kuantan to Cheras to Subang Jaya, I was a boy brimmed with optimism. I was cuddled comfortably within the secure sphere of a Malaysian dream that all races have a place in this country. And that dream would mean more than a right to vote or a right to choose our democratic servants but an entitled right to call my country home.

Welcome to part III of what do you think?! Where your views matter and ours not! We want to hear from you! Come on, tell us what do you think!

Sarven rock climbing
No, today’s poll is not about how fast Sarven can rock climb or whether he is afraid of heights. We want to know what do you think his future career would be. During his high school years, I have heard that he wanted to be a scientist. Well, that was ages ago. During the start of his A-Levels, I was only hearing of becoming a “Nanotechnologist” from him. With him skipping classes frequently, his dreams of becoming a “Nanotechnologist” seems far fetched. What do you think?
Now, Sarven has many talents that can be of use for him to find a job. He is able to make people laugh and I don’t know what else. Taking everything into consideration, what do you think Sarven would end up as when he grows up?

Most of the teenagers know about High School Musical, but how many of them are aware that the High School Musical team just had an “Ice Tour” to Malaysia? 6 days in the Putra Stadium, Bukit Jalil. I was there on the last day of the performance with my family members. The tickets were expensive, ranging from RM 68 to RM 248. Somehow, I got the tickets at only half of the original price, which means a 50% discount. I did not know there was such promotion until my mum and brother went to purchase the tickets at Bukit Jalil. So, the promotion was a bonus for us.

Just remove the two obstructing Nikon lens caps and insert “seductive” eyes.
Was at a friend’s farewell party when I overheard a little conversation. It was about one of our authors, Ying Wei. As we all know very well, the only thing that Ying Wei could ever rant about is not having a girlfriend. We as friends have given him some solutions to his problems but yet he is still single. Perhaps he has taken our opinions as crap or he just loves to rant about it over and over again.
This time, one factor that supposedly distances girls away from him is because of his “player” look. Of course, we want security before we put our foot into a relationship. With his “image”, I do not know of any girl that would take the risk just to spend a minute holding his hands (or maybe just fingers)! Fine, maybe I’m to old fashioned and perhaps there are some females out there willing to take the chance? People, your silence ain’t golden. Now vote! Cheers!

Jian Wei at a hawker stall in Taipan
It’s that time again! We want to know what you guys think about a certain issue/question/poll! Even though this is technically the second time we are doing this but let us consider this the first! Now, Jian Wei has just left us for the United States a few days earlier. Some say the United States is the land of the free - lots of opportunities for everybody. Opportunities to commit acts that you could never over here in Malaysia, legally =p. Some of us have grown up with this boy (Jian Wei) and have witnessed his “good boy” attitude slowly turn into a “wild monkey”. So how wild can this monkey go when let loose from its cage? Give us your opinions! Cheers!
