UTAR’S SRC Election 2008

This is the 1st year for TAR University’s main campus in Perak to hold the Student Representative Committee (SRC) Election. This campus was officially opened in May 2007 and in a week’s time; they’re going to choose their Student Representatives.
A new election system has been introduced by UTAR’s President, Dato’ Dr. Chuah Hean Teik. Previously, every faculty has their own respective student committee but this year, the format’s different. The chosen student council will represent their particular campuses (PJ, Sungai Long, Kuala Lumpur and Perak); the SRC can consist of reps from various faculties.
