With the theme, “Every ending is a new beginning.”

The A Levels Programme had their annual Achievements & Awards Night, or better known as the Triple-A-Night at Sheraton Subang on Sunday. Tasked to act as the ECHO photographer for the night, I set out to Sheraton at 6.45PM.

I was supposed to arrive at 6.30PM, but an error of oversleeping caused me a little bit of time and hence I didn’t make it for the opening speeches.

But oh well, …. speeches. XD

Shh..!! Don’t tell them I said that. XD

The Master of Ceremony’s of the night.

Ahem. Anyway, when I arrived food was already served on each and every table, and the guests were already helping themselves to their hungry stomachs.

The A-Levels population.

The scrolls presentations were at intervals after performances by the students. So I had to constantly rotate between the 18-55mm lens and the 55-200mm lens, as I would prefer to use the zoom lens for performance shots so I could get a close up at times.

After the first round of scrolls presentations, they had a song performance, by two lovely young ladies.

Which then followed up by a solo dance performance which captured the audience’s attention with her twists and hip movements.

Jaqueline on the other hand, was incharged of taking pictures of every students when they accept their scrolls. She was a committee member for the A-Levels Committee (ALSCO), hence the duty. Regardless of that, I too had my share of pictures of the scrolls presentation.

Graduation is an awesome achievement!

Eager to get their scrolls as their names were called out.

This time round, the juniors take the stage to present to the crowd a dance. A dance that attracted ‘woos’ and ‘wahs’ from the audiences, and applause of course.

Spicing up the atmosphere with their enthusiasm.

Apparently, one of the students from ALSCO is a wushu exponent. Thus, it wasn’t surprising to find he was one of the performer for the night.

Swiping and stabbing to the all famous tune of ‘Wong Fei Hung’.

The crowd were then allowed some breathing space for them to catch up on the food.

Soon, it was time for the last performance. A combo of songs and dances by a whole bunch enthusiastic students.

Then, I realised. This was definitely more eventful than the CAT/ACCA Graduation I attended 3 months ago, not to mention the food sucks bad, there wasn’t any performances to begin with. Anyway, not that I would complain, but oh well XD.

After the performance, students started to crowd around the area outside of the ballroom, although some remained inside. With everyone dressing formally, one would be abnormal if they didn’t hit the shutter button of their cameras.

The famous Mr. Kingsley I heard so much about!

I decided to make a move at 10.15PM after acknowledging that there was nothing else to shoot, and after Jaqueline left. Dad arrived to pick me up and off I go, and thus my task was finally concluded.

A tiring day indeed.
