World’s Most Advanced Mouse

Logitech MX Revolution, the world’s most advanced mouse. It was announced way back in year 2006. I have fallen in love with it since then.

Fast forward to year 2008, my Logitech MX610 cordless mouse is starting to give up. The thumb back and forward buttons have stopped working. Although it was mainly use for the server computer only, it needs a replacement soon as the battery life of the mouse has reduced significantly, at the same time causing the server to freeze randomly.

After doing some research, I have decided to buy the Logitech MX Revolution. Being the world’s most advanced mouse, it certainly has some outstanding features. The most obvious feature is the scroll wheels. The top wheel has two modes and can be switched by clicking on the wheel. In the Click-to-Click mode, the wheel scrolls like ordinary mouse. In the Free Spin mode, the wheel becomes “frictionless” and you are able to “spin” through a document or website very quickly.

Other than that, there is a built-in rechargeable battery in the mouse. According to reviews, it can last roughly 14 days after a full charge, which is not bad. The mouse comes with a dock-able charger. To charge the mouse, simply dock the mouse and everything should be done in an hour.

I am not going into detail on how this mouse work or writing a review as there are plenty of them in the Internet already. All I can say about this mouse is it’s really nice and “cool”. I am using it with my main computer and the previous Logitech MX 510 Gaming Mouse goes to the server. =)

Please wait for the loading to complete. Most of the pictures were taken with the Nokia N95-1. So don’t expect excellent quality pics. Move your cursor on the picture and click on the right arrow to go to the next picture. Alternatively, click on the play button to start a slideshow.
