Sunway Christian Fellowship

It has been a looooooong time since the last time I attended Sunway’s CF. The last time I went, it was still called Sunway-Monash Christian Fellowship, as Monash hasn’t moved out yet. The CF as it is now, is totally different from how I used to remember, probably due to the shifting out of Monash and also the graduation of several seniors.

Anyway I was in college till 5.30pm when the CF was suppose to begin. Waited for Pei Yi and the rest to come back from Pyramid with Ying Wei in the foyer before making our way to LT6, which was where weekly CF meetings were held.

We were greeted as new members, and ushered into the LT by existing committee with open arms. Since I have not attended for a very long time, I voluntarily opted to be a newcomer =D.

Welcoming speech!

Newcomers were asked to briefly introduce themselves, and so we did. Our presence were warmly received as applause and cheers were directed to us after we were done with our individual introduction.

We had praise and worship =) but obviously there weren’t room to jump around, so we used our arms instead, we waved and so on. Hahaha! It was enjoyable in a different way.

Yours truly and Ying Wei. (ignore the lala pose xD)

There werent many in numbers as only half of the LT were filled, but I was sure ACCA covered more than half of the portion w00t! THREE CHEERS FOR ACCA!

We were all there for Him.

Then we got separated into KGs (Kononia Groups) which were similar to cell groups, only that we were being separated according to the courses we were in. So all CAT/ACCA students were grouped together and brought to another classroom for KG activities.

Positioning ourselves in a circle.

Since we were new members, we were then asked to introduce ourselves again, only extra was we were asked to say what papers are we all taking for the semester. Prior to that, a roll of toilet tissue paper was passed around, with each having to tear out a total number of pieces of their own choice.

Ying Wei took five, I had three, Han Xin had two, both Pei Yi and Jessica had one and I think Seng Kim had two? or three? haha I couldn’t recall of that detail. Then our KG leader gave us a constant number (ie.10), and we had to subtract our number of tissue papers we have from that constant number, and tell the number of facts relating to yourself according to ur balancing figure.

It was fun =) a very good way to mingle around I would say, within moments, we were all talking as if we knew each other for years. Then we were asked to think of a name of our KG, something which has relation to ACCA.

I suggested a name where I heard from a friend, Aku Cinta Chartered Accountant, which was obviously intended to create some laughter xDD.

In the end we settled on Association of Certified Christ Ambassadors. =DD

So bring your friends if they are SyUC students to SUNWAY CHRISTIAN FELLOWSHIP! Weekly meetings are held on every Thursday, from 5.30pm to 7.30pm in LT6, which is located in the 4th Floor of the Ex-Monash Block. There will be no CF next week, so come visit the week after =D.

Our meeting came to an end, and we were dismissed. We went on to the foyer, where we took a group picture as agreed beforehand.

We know our voting rights! *refer to our MSN display pictures to know more*

Pei Yi was kind enough to give us a ride home. haha so I happily jumped into the front passenger seat, waiting for her to ignite the car engine. Oh oh, not forgetting the usual camwhoring (according to Pei Yi) session in the car.

The driver and the trouble noisemakers!

I shall endorse her driving skills here as she has endorsed mine long time ago in her blog.

Overall her driving was satisfactory =D just her night driving experience will have to be brushed up =D but well I guess she could handle it! and since considering the fact that she is only a 3-week-old driver, the result was actually above average haha. Well done! xD

We drivers who passed the 1st time without bribe are the elites LOLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL. *runs from readers*

So anyway, thank j00 for the ride home =]
