Prime Minister Launches SEGi Flagship Campus

18 February 2008, the whole SEGi Subang campus student were asked to go to the new Kota Damansara Campus to welcome our Malaysia’s Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Abdullah Haji Ahmad Badawi (Pak Lah) to officially launched the new RM150 Million flagship campus of SEGi College Malaysia. Bus are provided and free shirt to everyone who went there. So how could i miss the chance to explore the new SEGi main campus right.

We arrived there at 2.30pm and wondering around until the Prime Mnister came at 4.45pm and there, i with my Nokia 6680 started to work. There are cameraman around and DSLR are all over the place. This the first time i am squeezing with all the cameraman to capture pictures, and it’s fun actually…lol

After Pak Lah step in the campus, he was asked to sign the guest book. Besides Pak Lah, the event was also attended by the Chief Minister of Selangor Datuk Seri Dr. Mohamad Khir Toyo, Minister of Youth and Sports Datuk Sri Azalina Datuk Othman Said, Dato Seri Rafidah Aziz and a few deputy ministers.

There was a press conference after the launching but i did not went in, or in other works, i was not allowed to go in as i dont have a pass. The Event ended at 6.00pm. Reached Subang Campus at 6.50pm. Took a bus and reached home at 8.15pm. This the first time i am this close distance with our Prime Minister and thanks god i just charge my Nokia 6680 batery a night before. I think this trip is quite worthfull. What a large campus, what a day:)
