My First Day as an ACCA Student

You know what, I can’t sleep. So I might as well write something. I WAS JUST DONE REVISING FOR THE LAW PAPER ZOMG. AFTER JUST THE FIRST DAY OF CLASS. imustbeinsaned.

*clears throat* I wasn’t looking forward to classes at all to be honest, I think I mentioned in the previous post xD. Anyway, it’s good to be back somehow. Facing the familiar faces I have come to known for the past 6 months was rather warming before the start of class. Hey, I miss these people I tell you, they are the BOMBS in class LOL!

Ee Leen’s mum came to pick me up for college at 7.15am. I was looking forward to meet some juniors at least, so as I walked past the foyer my head took a 360 turn for a quick glance around hahahaha! *sigh* None spotted I suppose =( Well at least I think I spotted a few twelveans when it was lunch break! =D

We saw no hawt chiqs yet T.T

1st day as an ACCA student wasn’t pleasant at all. I can no longer go meoww~ around, since I’m unofficially no longer a CAT student. -.-” ok lame nevermind. hahaha.

Class started with F5 Performance Management, which deals with costing again, practically half of the syllabus we have covered back in T7 in the CAT Advanced Level. Ms. Voon Sia is still great, we were familiar with the lecturer since she was our T7 lecturer back in CAT xDDDDDD. Jokes were carried forward to this semester, and class was just like how it used to be.

Then it was time for F4 Corporate and Business Law class to take place. I ….. didn’t like the name of the subject. WHATISTHISZOMGHELPMEITSLAWIMGONNADIE. So naturally, when you don’t like the name, the 1st impression is gone. Lecture began, and I stonned. for awhile. before regaining my senses back again hahaha! Ms.Pushpa the lecturer, was .. I don’t know *shrugs* no comments at the moment. My best guess was she’s a firm and strict lecturer, with those no nonsense kind of attitude? =/

I can’t say that her lesson was a smooth ride, as I struggled to comprehend some of the info conveyed, but at least I could grasp the picture she was trying to potray. Therefore, revision is needed T.T gahh she dumped us 10 pages of notes to revise before the next class anyway.

The class was missing a few familiar faces though, 4 of them were offered the ICAEW (Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales) scheme which required them to be working while studying. Philip, Corey, Verona and Kamini are all placed in BDO Binder, the 5th largest audit firm in Malaysia as junior auditors now, with a salary package of RM1,700 per month. They were among the 20 short listed candidates chosen from both CAT groups last semester. Andrea and Kay Sim were part of them, but they turned down the offer.

I think I should sleep. Class is at 11.30am later though, Tuesday is quite relaxed as we only have 3hrs class and thats it we are allowed to go home lol w00t!

Oh well, life goes on as an ACCA student I guess.

Phrase of the day, mentioned by our Law lecturer, Ms.Pushpa, “When you’re in ACCA, you will have no life.” my life was sucked out of me that instant.

Kthxbye.
